Yes, it is essential to use a conductive gel with your ZIIP HALO. The gel ensures proper transmission of electrical currents to your skin during the Microcurrent facial treatment. It helps enhance the effectiveness of the device and ensures a smooth and comfortable experience.
Your ZIIP HALO 2.0 is programmed with 4 Minute Facial so you can ZIIP anywhere without the need for the app. 4 Minute Facial is a powerful 4-minute freeform facial that uses both Microcurrent and ZIIP Nanocurrent™.
For all other treatments and treatment plans, download the ZIIP App where our founder Melanie guides you through each treatment. For the best ZIIP results, we recommend using the app where you can tailor your treatments to your skin's needs.
The ZIIP App is a free app available in the Apple App store and the Google Play store. It can be used on iPhones, iPads, and Android phones.

When the device needs to be charged, the band around the center of the device will glow orange.
To charge, insert the USB-A to USB-C charging cable into a USB power adapter, then plug the other end into your ZIIP HALO device. Always use a charger/wall adapter that has a maximum 5V output. (Do not attempt to use device while charging.)
If the device is completely drained of its battery and does not power on, plug in the device and press the power on button to activate charging.
During charging, the band will glow orange. The device will take up to 4 hours to charge. Once fully charged, the orange light will switch off.
For best results, we recommend using your ZIIP 3-5 times per week, with a maximum of 6 times per week when following a short term treatment plan.
We recommend waiting 10 days after receiving an injectable or laser procedure before using ZIIP. Please consult your physician with further questions.

Microcurrent is a low intensity electrical current that is commonly used as a non-invasive, electrotherapy to improve the appearance and health of skin. It is usually administered to the skin using a small, handheld device that delivers tiny electrical currents to the skin, conducted safely via a conductive gel that is applied to the skin beforehand.
Microcurrent is clinically proven to be safe when used on the skin, this is because it is using such low levels of electrical current.
Although, each individual's skin and muscle sensitivity to electrical stimulation can vary, meaning some individuals may be more sensitive to the tingling sensations that Microcurrent causes.
Overall, yes, Microcurrent is an extremely safe beauty treatment. However, there are certain people that should avoid using it.

ZIIP HALO should not be used on:
- Areas of skin that are raised, bleeding, painful to touch, broken or excessively red.
- Areas where there is facial hair. The hair acts as a blocker to ZIIP's electrical currents.
- Areas of skin that has been pierced/ has a piercing.
- Any other part of your body other than the neck and face.
To clean your ZIIP Microcurrent device we recommend that you use isopropyl alcohol and a soft cloth to wipe down your ZIIP removing all gel after every use.
After every use, with a soft cloth, wipe your ZIIP free of gel. Then lightly spray your clean cloth with isopropyl alcohol and wipe your ZIIP down paying close attention to cleaning around the globes, the white silicone and around the band that is around the ZIIP making sure to remove any gel residue, then wipe off with a dry cloth before storing.
Please keep your ZIIP away from water or any other liquids (including excessive amounts of conductive gel), dampness or debris. DO NOT submerge your ZIIP HALO in water, place in the dishwasher or apply abrasive cleaners/chemicals.
When using your ZIIP, be sure to keep the charging port free of any conductive gel. This will help ensure your ZIIP HALO continues to perform at its best.
